Punch Art: Little Ducks

Here's another card created using paper punches. Thank you to Michelle Lewis and her inspiration for this card.

Stampin' Up! punches used were:
Scallop Edge
Word Window
1 1/4" circle
Wide Oval
Scallop Circle
Small Heart

Again, an example of thinking beyond what an item was meant for, thinking outside the box.

Monday Inspiration March 1, 2010 - Easter Bunny

I'm so happy you decided to stop by my blog for Monday's Inspiration. Today I wanted to inspire you to try using different colors of paper when you stamp out images to see how different the same image can look just by changing the color of paper.

Look closely at the bunnies above, you will see the differences.
Bunny on the left: Whisper White Card Stock and stamped with Classic Chocolate Chip.
Bunny in the middle: Very Vanilla Card Stock and stamped with Classic Chocolate Chip.
Bunny on the right: Creamy Caramel Card Stock and stamped with Classic Chocolate Chip.

Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets used for this card:
Inspired By Nature Stamp Set, item #111656 (blades of grass)
Well Scripted Stamp Set, item #117072 (wood mount) & #118601 (clear mount)
Chocolate Bunny, item #116980 (wood mount only)

Card base is Bashful Blue
Grass was stamped with Old Olive Classic Ink.

Easter is just a month away. The Easter Bunny Stamp Set is perfect, and still can be ordered and arrive in time to make your cards if you order soon.

Two Versions of the Crinkle Background

Since I had two card bases completed thanks to yesterday's blog post, I couldn't resist making them into cards early this morning to share with you. The tutorial for the Crinkle Background can be found by clicking here.

Both cards used the same Stampin' Up! elements:

Melon Mambo Classic Ink & Card Stock
Bermuda Bay Classic Ink & Card Stock
Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink
Whisper White Card Stock
In Color Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Rich Razzleberry for one, Bermuda Bay for the Other)
1 3/4" Circle Paper Punch
Trio Flower Paper Punch
5 Petal Flower Paper Punch
Vintage Labels Stamp Set (Sale-A-Bration item)

It's fun to see how many different ways you can make a card using the same elements and color scheme.

Lots of rain here in AZ since last night. Yesterday we could even see some snow on the mountains that surround the valley here. Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

Just a reminder that the Sale-A-Bration promotion ends at the end of March. Don't miss out on earning free gifts with each $50 purchase (before tax & shipping) you make between now and the end of March.
