The cards above were fun to make and really quick and easy.   I mounted all 3 stamps/sayings on one clear mount block lining them up with grid paper underneath.   Then stamped.   If I had wanted different colors for each part, I could of either stamped individually and lined up with the Stamp-a-ma-jig OR used a Stampin' Marker to color them in. I used the Creative Elements Stamp Set for the floral flourish about the edges with Crumb Cake Classic Ink.   Raspberry Ripple Card Stock and Classic Ink were the main color choice on both cards.

Paper Piercing With Reason to Smile Stamp Set

 Yesterday, I told you about a new stamp set that will be offered in July 2012 ONLY thru a special promotion by Stampin' Up! called Reason to Smile.   You can read more about it HERE.   The card above uses two of the stamps in this new set (flower with stem shadow, and flower with stem outline).   It uses a two-step stamping technique where you stamp the shadow first in a lighter color, then stamp the outline in a darker color.   I have a two-step technique tutorial HERE.   I thought the little frog springing up added a touch of whimsy to the card.

All of the photos can be made larger by clicking on them.  If you click on this photo, you will see the paper piercing that was done around the white design. 

 This is one of the three sheets in the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack sold by Stampin' Up!  It has 3 unique templates that are each 6" x 6".  The sheets/designs coordinate with punches on Pg 182-185, Edgelits  on Pg 190, and Framelits on Pg 191 of the main catalog.

I lined up the outline of the white cutout with the paper-piercing sheet and then using the paper-piercing tool pierced the dots around the inside edge of the red card stock.

Here's some additional information from Stampin' Up!:

Get them before they are gone! The retired accessories and Definitely Decorative (including Décor Elements) lists are now available and won't stay around for long--these items are only available while supplies last!

When you look at the retired accessories list, you'll note that all of our Stampin' Pads are listed. This is for two reasons: (1) Craft Stampin' Pads will now only be available in black and white; and (2) we are introducing a new Firm Foam pad in our Classic Stampin' Pads with the 2012-2013 annual catalog.

The Firm Foam pads offer better ink coverage and, in turn, better stamped images. In addition, please note the following about the new catalog:

• Only select Stampin' Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin' Write Markers in color collections will continue to be offered)
• 12" x 12" Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered
• 12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections

In the coming weeks I will have more information for you about the change to our Stampin' Pads and other products.   Today I just want to get the lists out to you so that you can order any product that you want/need.   Remember these are while supplies last and many will sell out right away.

Also please be sure to check names of ink if you are purchasing.  Classic ink is what I typically use in my cards you see on my blog.   Craft ink is thicker, takes longer to dry.  White craft ink works great on darker card stock.

Petite Purse BigZ Die Samples Plus Retirement List

I'm working on some samples of the Petite Purse BigZ Die.   Can't wait to share them with you on Friday.   I've decorated each one a bit differently and am very pleased with the results.   These purses are just so cute.

Idea Book and Catalog 2012 - 2013.   It will arrive towards the end of May.   It is my gift to my customers as a way to say "Thank You" for using me as your Stampin' Up!
