I took the designs from yesterday's post and have made them into cards that you will see on my blog the next 3 days. I must admit to one failure (I really mis-cut a design and it became unusable) so there are 3 cards not 4 as originally planned.
I like making hybrid cards with My Digital Studio and the card above is a great example. A hybrid card uses a digital image that is printed out then incorporated into a card using card stock, ribbons, etc. I used the Big Shot to cut out two tags, added some eyelets using my Crop-a-dile, and then tied with a ribbon. Card was attached with dimensionals to the card front (Crumb Cake card stock sponged with Early Espresso). The eye of the bird is actually a real pearl embellishment from Stampin' Up! The card front was then attached to the card base.
