Stampin' Up! Big Shot Perfect Setting Die

I just received this die the other day and had to try it.   I was able to cut both pieces using 1 piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock (cut in half to fit die).   I made a treat cup holder (would work for a cupcake too) and a napkin ring.   I can see both too as accent pieces on a card if sized down and kept flat.   Here are photos of what I made.

This photo shows you the pieces cut out, but still on the die.   Felt this was a great way to show you the layout and the designs "pop" for viewing this way too.

Here are the two finished pieces.   The treat cup holder was threaded with our 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, felt it added a decorative touch.   Used the penquin from Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set to decorate the napkin ring.

This is a 9 oz tumbler (clear plastic) you can find at most stores.   Worked great.  Filled it with M&Ms, but nuts or wrapped candy would work too.   The base of the cup does NOT fit completely down in the bottom, but the cover was stable so felt this was a good use too.   Be sure to use sticky strip to hook this together.   You could also put a bit of multi-purpose Tombo glue that Stampin' Up! sells between the back side of the cover and the outside of the cup to make it more stable too.

Purchased cupcakes from our grocery store bakery.  They seem a bit smaller than homemade ones so when put in the cupcake cover went all the way to the bottom.   Would be difficult to get the cupcake out of the cover.   Would like homemade or larger cupcakes would be fine.

I purchased holiday napkins and made napkin rings for them.   Love the penquin, always makes me smile.

I sponged Garden Green Classic Ink on the the treat cup holder and the napkin ring that were made with Very Vanilla Card Stock.

Jolly Bingo Bits Stamp Set, item #120857 - Wood Mount OR #121187 - Clear Mount.
Big Shot BigZ XL Die, item #115961.

Wouldn't these make a great gift idea for a birthday or holiday present.
