Box Kite Card - Which do you like?

The other day I saw a card on Dawn Griffith's blog and decided to give it a try.  Then I started playing around with it and came up with my own version that reminds me of a Box Kite.   It stands by itself too.  Here's some photos of it.

I stamped the back of the cards too so there is an all over designs.

This is how the cards look laid flat.  They will fit into an A2 envelope.

Card Style 1 - This one followed Dawn's directions.

Card #2 - This is my version.  I used some clear strips to hang the scalloped circles.

Which version do you like better?  What kind of occasion would you use it for?  Please leave a comment and let me know.

I like them both... first time I've seen the clear strips. How do they work? #2 has a little more drama.

I will do a tutorial for the Kite version of the card later this week.

The clear strips are actually a document folder that I cut into strips and attached to the scallop circles (SNAIL adhesive) and to the top rim of the card (Dimensionals).

Thank you for posting comments.
