Gate Fold Spinner Card Tutorial



 
Stampin’ Up! Supplies Used:
Rose Red Card Stock, item #102544, 2 pieces  1 ½ “ x 5” and 1 piece 4” x 4”
Wild Wasabi Card Stock, item #108641, 1 piece 4’ x 4” and 1 piece 5 ½” x 8 1/2” (Card Base)
Whisper White Card Stock, item #100730, 1 piece 4” x 5” and 1 piece 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Rose Red Classic Ink, item #101778

Directions:
Step 1
Score the card base (Wild Wasabi – 5 ½” x 8 ½”) at 2 1/8” and 6 3/8”
Crisply fold with bone folder
Step 2
Stamp the following:
  1.  LOVE for the inside of card – Use Rose Red, then sponge the edge of the card stock with wild wasabi classic ink.
  2. 1 spinner circle in rose red classic ink, punch out with 2 ½” circle punch
  3. 1 spinner circle in wild wasabi classic ink, punch out with 2 ½” circle punch
  4. Set circles aside & adhere LOVE piece to inside of card
Step 3
Using the Big Shot, die-cut both the 3” (Rose Red) and 3 ½”  (Wild Wasabi) circles. Layer using SNAIL adhesive.   Set aside.
Step 4
To create the spinner section:
  1. Using the Wild Wasabi Spinner Circle  and paper snips, but out the section that you want to stand out (birthday, anniversary, baby etc).
  2. Line up with the Rose Red Spinner Circle and adhere together using SNAIL Adhesive.
  3. Paper pierce the center (be sure to sure mat pack to protect your work surface.
  4. Attach the spinner and brad.  Secure brad by opening prongs.
  5. Now layer on the die-cut circles.
Step 5
To create side pieces: (2 panels to create)
  1.  Using SNAIL adhesive, attach Organza Ribbon to panel of Red Rose.
  2. Now using paper piercer and mat pack to punch hole for the brad.
  3. Put brad in and secure brad by opening prongs.
  4. Using sticky strip attach panel to card front.
Step 6
Put SNAIL or Sticky Strip on left side of circles for spinner center piece.
Place on card, rubbing firmly to secure.
