Christmas Stocking & 3D Pennant Card Tutorial

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
Stocking Builder Punch, item #124095
Petite Pennants Builder Punch, item #122361
Mini Jingle Bells, item #124116 …. 3 used on this card  (brads may be substituted)
Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) . Holly Berry Bouquet, item #124004 – 1 piece 2 ¾” x 3 ¾”
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, item #119685 – 1 piece 1” x 5 ½”, 1 piece 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink, item #119669
Very Vanilla Card Stock, item #101650 – 1 piece 5 ½” x 8 ½”, 2 pieces 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Basic Black Card Stock, item #121045 – 1 piece 3 ¼”  x 4 ¼”
Mini Glue Dots, item #103683 - use these to attach Mini Jingle Bells to the card.
Stampin’ Sponges, item #101610
Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, item #110755

Directions:
1.       Score 5 ½” x 8 ½” piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock at 4 ¼”
2.      Punch out the following and set aside:
a.      Two Cherry Cobbler stockings:  1 piece 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
b.      Two Very Vanilla stockings:   1 piece 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
c.       Three Mini Scallop Pennants:  1 piece 4 ¼” x  5 ½” (score these in the middle)
3.      Combine the 2 Cherry Cobbler Stockings and the 2 Very Vanilla Stocking.
    (NOTE:  Stocking base is Cherry Cobbler, Accents are Very Vanilla.  Save extra pieces)
a.       Sponge edges with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink *
4.       Using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, glue the 2 sides of the scallop pennant punched pieces.  (Piece 1 – glue right side to left side of piece 2.  Piece 2 – glue right side to left side of piece 3. Left side of Piece 1 and right side of piece 3 will end up being glued to the DSP).
5.      Glue 1” x 5 ½” piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock to the right side of the card front.
6.      Glue the Basic Black Card Stock piece to the bottom left of the card.
7.      Glue the DSP piece to the Basic Black piece --- be sure to center DSP.
a.      Use a small piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock for the tree base.  (You can use one of the scraps from the stocking punch outs if you would like or just a small square  punch works too.
b.      Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, glue the tree to the DSP just above the tree base.
8.      Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, attached the two stocking to the card front.
9.      Using Mini Glue Dots, attach a mini Jingle Bell to each sock and just above the tree top.
*NOTE:  If you wanted you could use Old Olive Classic Ink and sponge the tree edges too.
