Imagine The Possibilities Digital Card Front

I'm still trying different techniques with the new My Digital Studio 2.   One of the new features is that you can add in "splatters" of color to a design.   There are a number of different versions/styles to choose from with this option too.  When I started with this card front, it was a blank white canvas so to speak.   Then I added in the background color and started to play with different embellishments, colors and shadows.   It required me to "Imagine the Possibilities" so I thought that sentiment was perfect for this card front.

Did you notice how distinct the scallop heart is?   That is because I added in a black drop shadow.  You can change the colors of the shadow and even blur it in different amounts.

My goal this week is to give you five days of digitally created cards using My Digital Studio 2.   So there will be one more tomorrow.    My cards this week haven't even touch the tip of the iceberg of what can be created with this program.

When I am printing these at home, I save them as a jpg file, and then print it out on photo quality paper.  The photo becomes my card front which is attached to a card base.  This makes it a "hybrid" card.   Hybird means it is part digital, part traditional.   I could add in ribbons, pearls or other embellishments to accent the card even more.

Just a reminder that Stampin' Up! has a fantastic website set up for MDS2.  It is loaded with training videos and forums.   CLICK HERE.   It seems like there is always someone there to help with questions and answers.   I'm learning so much.   I've been on the site daily.

You may order from my Stampin' Up! website 24/7 by CLICKING HERE, then click on Shop Now or by contacting me directly. My e-mail link is at the top of the screen.
