The hillside was made by ripping Old Olive Card Stock and then using SNAIL Adhesive to adhere it to the card base. I like the rough edges to it.
The trees were made with Brushed Silver Card Stock, item #100712. Here are some other types you could use too:

The tree top was accented with Pearl Basic Jewels, item #119247.
