Gate Fold Card Sample

Just had to share with you this beautiful card I made using the Two-Step Stamping Flowers I made the other day. CLICK HERE to see the tutorial on Two-Step Stamping Technique. I cut out the pansy shaped ones, then attached each one to a flower shape that I had punched out using the Extra Large Fancy Flower Paper Punch, item #118073 from our Occasions Mini Catalog that expires on April 30, 2010. I stamped the flower punched out image with the Fine Florish stamp, item #115709 which is also from the Occasions Mini Catalog using Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink, item #115658.

A gate fold card opens in the middle. I attached the flowers to the left side and the sentiment to the right. Gives a unique look to the card when it is opened and closed.

This photo is another view of the card opened. You could stamp another sentiment inside, place a photo, or more designs. It will fit an A2 envelope. Card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

I will do a tutorial on how to make a Gate Fold Card later this week.

Lovely how you have placed the 2 flowers on one side and the sentiment on the other flap. Great idea
