Enjoy Every Moment Card

You may have noticed I'm having a great deal of fun using Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio software and downloads.  What I would like to do next week is create a card using MDS, then create a similar one the traditional way.   I really like the ability to create digitally especially when I am trying to come up with new designs and ideas.

I wanted to try layering, ordering, shadowing, and opacity with this card.   The tree is done in Old Olive at 20% opacity.  It gives it a neat affect of being in the shadows/more soft and distant.  I wanted the bird to have some "POP" to it so added in tiny Tempting Turquoise Brads that I had resized.  The label has a drop shadow added to it to give it the feel of floating.  The dotted line under the bird's feet adds in the look of paper piercing too.

I hope that you will take some of my designs and use them as a guideline for a card that you can make yourself.  Use the cards as a starting point of inspiration and let your imagination run wild. Whether you are making cards or scrapbook pages or other paper crafting project, don't be afraid to try new ideas.  It is how we learn and how we expand our capabilities too.
