Valentine Goodie Bags

I've been busy making Valentines and thought I would share the design with you.  My photos above show the front, the back, and a group of them that I have finished.  Yes, my tablecloth has tiny red ladybugs all over it.   I thought they looks cute with the Valentines.

If you want to make goodie bags using the Top Note Die ... it will fit both the small and the medium cellophane bags depending on where you crease it (the long way or the short way). 

When I cut the Top Note die, I cut one out with Poppy Parade and one out in Whisper White.   The Big Shot can actually cut more than one layer of card stock, but there is serrated stitching line so it is recommended that you cut one sheet at a time.  I cut the white piece just inside the serrated line.  Then I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere the two pieces together.   This allows the Poppy Parade piece to become the shadow or accent piece for the white. 

In my supplies, the Crop-a-Dile is a must have.   It easily punches thru chipboard, layers of card stock and so much more.   It also is used to set our Jumbo Eyelets.   I used the Crop-a-Dile to punch the holes for the ribbon ... it went thru 4 layers of card stock and 2 layers of cellophane without any problem.  It also has two sizes it can punch ... 1/8" and 3/16".

The cellophane bags and the Top Note Die are great for any type of party favors you would like to make.   They can be filled with candy, small cookies, or a special gift.  Be creative and don't just save them for Valentines.
