Bugs and Kisses Card Tutorial


Stampin' Up! Products Used:

Early Espresso Card Stock, item #119686  … one 3” x 5 ½” piece and one 3” x 3” piece

1 ¼” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon – Old Olive, item #115618    ….. one 6 ½” piece

Directions:
1.       Score the piece of Old Olive Card Stock (5 ½ x 8 ½) at 4 ¼.   Crisply fold with the bone folder.
2.      Using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and the 3” square of Very Vanilla Card Stock
a.       Center the punch on each side of the square and press.
b.      Stamp Grasshopper on center piece.
c.       Sponge with Old Olive
d.      Feed striped ribbon thru the square, then attach to the Early Espresso Card Stock with Scotch Tape or Sticky Strip or Adhesive.
                                                              i.      Attach this to your card base.
                                                            ii.      Using mini glue dots attach your buttons on the 4 corners.
3.      Stamp “bugs and kisses!” with Old Olive Classic Ink on Very Vanilla Card Stock.
a.       Punch out with Decorative Label punch.
b.      Sponge with Old Olive Classic Ink
c.       Place 2 dimensionals on the back and place on card.
4.      Punch a Decorative Label with Early Espresso Card Stock
5.      Stamp Happy Father’s Day on Very Vanilla Card Stock
a.       Punch out sentiment with Modern Label Punch
b.      Sponge edges with Early Espresso Classic Ink
c.       Glue to Decorative Label (Early Espresso) and then to inside of the card.
