Scallop Oval Paper Punch (item #114889)
Score your 10" x 6 1/2" cardstock at 5".
Using your Bone Folder make a crisp fold. This is now your card base.
Using your Big Shot Die-Cut machine cut out 1 set of daisies in Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Dusty Durango .... paper is 5 1/2" x 5" for each color.
This is the negative image after the daisies have been removed. They will make a great backdrop for our flowers. I used the Rich Razzleberry one on this card, and have saved the other 2 for use on another project.
Using SNAIL adhesive attached the negative image to your Whisper White card base.
Now we are going to build the daisies using all 3 colors in the process. Remember as you build them to stagger the petals so that the color below shows thru. This will add depth and dimension to your flowers. I found that a liquid glue around the center ring worked the best so used Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive for the daisies. Use sparingly as the adhesive will spread.
1. Large Daisy --- add large Crushed Curry Daisy
2. Med Daisy --- add med Dusty Durango Daisy
3. Sm Daisy --- add sm Crushed Curry Daisy
1. Large Daisy --- add med Rich Razzleberry Daisy
2. Med Daisy --- add sm Rich Razzleberry Daisy
3. Sm Daisy --- leave as is
1. Large Daisy --- add SM Dusty Durango Daisy
2. Med Daisy --- leave as is
3. Sm Daisy -- leave as is
Last layer for daisies: (the die cuts 3 sizes of circles with the daisies ... I used medium but you could use whichever size you like best)
1. Large Daisy --- add in Crushed Curry circle
2. Med Daisy --- add in Dusty Durango circle
3. Sm Daisy --- add in Rich Razzleberry circle
Using the Sincere Salutations Stamp Set, Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink stamp "Thinking of You" on your small piece of Dusty Durango paper.
I always punch holding the bottom up (as photographed) so that I can be sure my stamped image is aligned properly when I do the punch.
Using two dimensionals, attached your sentiment to card.
Using the Rich Razzleberry Marker accent the white edges of your card. I do this by going along the side of the marker and pulling down over the card. You could also do this by putting ink on a small sponge and sponging the edges also.
Here is a photo of the finished card along with the "leftover" daisy pieces layered together. The leftover pieces along with the leftover negative image sheets will be used on other cards. Nothing really goes to waste.
