Sneak Peaks - Holiday Mini Catalog - Stampin' Up!

I'm so excited to share this with all of you. We have a brand new Holiday Mini Catalog that will be premiering on September 1st and will be valid thru January 4, 2010. I just got the "official" OK that I can post photos of my creations on my blog of item from the mini.

Wait till you see what is in store for all of us ... this is one of the BEST catalogs I've seen.

The above two photos are of two of the stamps in the set called "Sweet Centers". We will have "Sweet Treat Cups" available too in packs of 12. Using a paper punch, you can actually punch out the center of the design and put in the sweet treat cup as the replacement. They can be used as cards (card one without the sweet treat cup) or as goodies (photo #2) for special events. There is a heart, the Halloween one, a hot air balloon, an ornament and some leaves & petals (to make a flower I believe). NOTE: The lacey edge cardstock is not Stampin' Up!, it is cards that I am "remaking" and will go for the Cards For Soldiers challenge in September. I couldn't wait to show you all the samples. EXTRA NOTE: The Sweet Treat Cups will hold 1/3 of a regular size bag of M&Ms.

The Sweet Treat Cups and the Sweet Centers Stamp set use the
1 3/4" paper punch.

The beautiful pine trees are from "Lovely as a Tree" stamp set. Did you notice Santa and his reindeer flying overhead. Santas is part of 3 piece stamp set called "Wandering Words". All three stamps are elongated like this one. The others are for Valentines' day and Thanksgiving or a Thank you card. To get the forest effect I stamped the same image numerous times. Next time I need to get Santa just a bit higher and should of used my Stamp-a-ma-jig instead of guessing. Thought it looked cute tho.

These 2 photos of ornaments designs & tiny cicles are all from Delightful Decorations stamp set which has 7 pieces. I stamped them on whisper white card stock and used Handsome Hunter and Real Red. AND we have a new Paper Punch called Ornament that is a perfect match with this set!!!! Isn't that wonderful. I loved that I could make my own gift tags using the stamp set and the paper punch. So much easier and quicker than cutting out by hand. (Thank you Stampin' Up!, I love paper punches).

This is a single stamp that is called "A Brand New Year". I used the Spiral paper punch all the way around, stamp in Real Red then highlighted with red glitter glue that I had.

Are you ready for the one of the two biggest announcements .......... drum roll please ........

"Stampin' Up! has teamed up with the Build-A-Bear Workshop to bring you an exciting and exclusive collection of products you and the children in your life will enjoy. " It will include stamp sets and Sizzix dies for your Big Shot die cutting machine. The stamp set in the photo above is called "Beary Best Friends". I watercolored it using our Watercolor Crayons and a blender pen. The paper was light blue and the crayons covered beautifully.

Also announced in the mini is our newest product "My Digital Studio" which is a digital scrapbooking program along with exclusive images that will be available later in the fall. The program will be MAC and PC compatible. Will tell you more, once we have the information. It will NOT be available on September 1st.

OK ... I'm off to make more creations to show you. There is LOTS more in the Holiday Mini Catalog, the above is just some of the highlights. The main catalog (Idea Book & Catalog 2009-2010) is still valid until the end of June 2010. The Holiday Mini Catalogs will start mailing as of August 15th, and orders can be placed as of September 1st.

Stampin' Up! has outdone themselves with this new mini!!!!!

Oh, Mary, I love your samples!!! I have every one of those stamp sets (or they're on my wish list) and am so happy to see such great ways to use them. I'm as thrilled as you are with the Ornament Punch; it's so nice to get such a great look with so little effort. LOVE the punches!
