I had seen this type of card before, but never knew what it was called or how to make it. Thanks to the wonderful people on the Cards for Soldiers group (Cricut message board), I learned about it today. I just had to try it. It was quick and easy to make. I had to recut the bird pieces tho as the designs can only go one way (left to right) so it did matter how I cut the paper. I will do a step-by-step tutorial hopefully this weekend to show how it is done.
Here's the directions I used:

I've just finished making another card and taking photos. Should have the tutorial up very soon.
The blue in the card is called Pacific Point and is one of the colors being discontinued by Stampin' Up! at the end of the month. Then we will have 6 brand new IN COLORS for the coming year.
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
