Cards Made with the Big Shot - Part 1 of 4

Let's have some fun with the Big Shot and all the dies that are available to us. These are going to make things so much easier with regards to designing your cards and scrapbook layouts. Please NOTE ... none of these cards have greetings on them. This is intentional as I was using them for a demonstration. Yes, I will add the greetings soon but wanted to pass the cards ideas on to you now rather than waiting.

The above two cards were made using the Sizzlits Die called "Buttons #5" - Item #113440. For added dimension, you could put some thread thru the button holes. Buttons could be used as centers for flowers too.

The swirls on the right were made using the Sizzlits called "Swirls Scribbles" - Item #113441
Look closely at this card, the bird's wing actually is 3D and sticks out from the card. The flower is two flowers from this set layered with a corduroy button as an accent. This is a Sizzlits 4-pack die set called "Stampin' Up! Birds & Blooms" - Item #113485. The set is exclusive to Stampin' Up!

Is there anything more special than a butterfly !!! So many changes in their lives to transform them. The larger butterflies were cut with the paper folded in half as this part of the die only makes 1/2 of a butterly. Kit Kat makes a snack serving size bar that fits perfectly as the body of the butterfly if you would like to make a quick gift for someone. Wouldn't your children love to get that surprise. The butterflies dis is a BigZ die and exclusive to Stampin' Up!. It is called "Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies" - Item #114507. I added a line of glitter glue to make the bodies of the butterflies.

I use my Big Shot a great deal with my card making. It makes cutting out designs quick and easy plus adds a great deal of variety to my cards too.
