Need input from you, please.
Hi Everyone,
Today I am asking your opinion on tutorials. Up until now, all of my tutorials have been step by step photo ones. I'm seriously considering switching my format to video. If I do video, I will also post a photo of the finished product with a supply list.
So what I would like to know is which do you prefer:
Video
Step by Step photos
Doesn't matter - I use both
Please post your comments below. I appreciate you taking the time to do this for me.
The card shown above was made using "rub-ons" . The set I used is on Pg 176 of the main catalog and is called Dots & Designs, item #115728. You can also learn more about it on my blog entry HERE.

Mary, I'm one of your many fans that will read or watch your tutorials in either case... You just do what feels good to you!
P.S. I found a SU demostrator at a party last week. The mortgage won't get paid again til next month now...lol!
Gramma, thank you for stopping by my blog. You didn't need to go "look" for a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was here all along just waiting for you.
You are going to love the products you purchased. They are always high quality, and always lots of choices too.
I love your work Mary, I also like Gramma would see and learn from both the options. Please do not stop inspiring us.
Mary,
I like step by step that way I can go slowly and refer back. Having said that, I will enjoy either you decide your projects are always so fun
Joan
Not to worry, I promise my tutorials (and me) will be around for a long, long time. The only thing that may change is the format in which I present my tutorials.
Thank you everyone, for your input. I hope that more of you will respond too.
I have to say I prefer the photo ones, I like to print them out and have them in a binder so that when I'm working on a project they are easy to refer to.
Kellpiejo ... thank you for posting. Appreciate the input.
Ditto what Kellpiejo said. I also like to print out step by step tutorials so I can refer to them as I go. Although there are some projects (not necessarily yours - you have great tutorials!)that seeing a video of how something is done is also helpful if there are special tricks or tips. But if I had to choose, I like the printed step by step tutorials with pictures. Love your site!
Gail, thank you so much for your input too. I haven't tried making a video yet .. but am leaning towards a video with a mini tutorial that you can print out. That would give info to all and also allow you to print out the photo of the card and a short set of directions to go with it. Again, all in the planning stages ... nothing set in concrete.
Beautiful card. Love the design and the colour. Re tutorials, I wonder the same thing as I'm going to start shooting videos. I think I'll mix them up. What about you?
Beth, I'm leaning towards doing a video with also a mini tutorial you can print out. Both would be on my blog. Will make my final decision once I get a Flip Recorder and have time to try it out.
