New In Colors for Stampin' Up!

Early yesterday morning I worked on some cards. I thought it would be interesting how different the same card would look by using different colors and sentiments. I'm very pleased with the results.

I decided to use the 5 new In Colors that were introduced on July 1st. In Colors stay in our color collections for 2 years then will retire. Next year we will have an additional 5 In Colors and they will be around for 2 years also.

The 5 new In Colors are: (on pg 165 of the new catalog)
Peach Parfait
Poppy Parade
Pear Pizzazz
Concord Crush
Blushing Bride
I used both card stock and classic ink in each color.

I used Whisper White Card stock for the card bases.

For the accent strip on each card, I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border paper punch. It is item #119275

Stamp Sets used:
Curly Cute, item #120510, clear mount (for the sentiments)
Printed Petals, item #120444, clear mount (for the large flower)

Each flower was hand cut out using paper snips (scissors).
